The library has to abide with the Copyright Act of South Africa and therefore may digitize prescribed chapters in books in certain cases through the blanket license obtained by the University. This is for the period during the COVID-19 pandemic. Academics are required to inform the UKZN Copyright Office of all material digitized and distributed.
